...........................Comment Only If You'd Had "Virtual Philosopher" Recently..........................

  2. I just took the Virtual Philosopher assessment and I scored two sections as being consistent with one being inconsistent. I learned that critical thinking can be and is utilized in a vast amount of scenarios.

I learned a bit more about my own critical thinking because sometimes when you are presented with adverse situations, it forces you how to adapt to thinking abstractly. I believe that the Virtual Philosopher experience might be improved by presenting scenarios which are more typical in day to day life, not for instance sinking on a lifeboat in frigid waters..

  3. I was consistent on all my answers. I learned that computer programs are easy to manipulate through the use of "Refresh", lol. In truth though, I did score consistent.

I don't think I learned anything I didn't already know, besides the fact that my answers tended to be rather evil (i.e. Murder is sometimes justifiable, etc.)

  6. After taking the Virtual Philosopher I had scored consistent on all three examples. I figured this would be the case going into the quiz but needed to see it for myself.

As far as my own critical thinking abilities go, I feel fairly confident that they meet an acceptable standard although Im sure there is always room for improvement. But what I found to be most interesting is when instead of keeping your selections or answers to yourself, and sharing your opinions with someone who has a conflicting opinion, then this is when the critical thinking really started to develop. While in debate as to who may have the better solution, you may just happen to find a completely different or even better solution to the issue in the end.
